Digital platforms such as social media (Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, Instagram, etc) and web pages allow administrators to push out and collect information in a timely manner that allows the rapid collection of data being sought. While I'm still finding my footing in social media, I absolutely agree that being able to share information quickly and to receive feedback from all shareholders enlightens policy - and allows for changes to policy and to development of new programs which reflect the needs of those same stakeholders! Immediate access, when utilized correctly, can instill value and develop community - such a gift to be involved at this level, and have easy access to those who we aim to impact through our work!
